Our services are provided in a manner that promotes respect and dignity to every individual that we serve. Intensive, therapeutic services are provided to clients based on their individual needs. We are committed to providing professional assistance to each client.
The company was founded out of a genuine passion for people. For over two decades, Brothers Community Resources LLC, has been serving communities. We are dedicated to helping clients reach their full potential by aiding in the development of new skills and enhancing their existing skills.

Alethea graduated from Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina, with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She then went to earn her certification in Elementary Education K-6 from North Carolina Central University. She later earned her Master of Science in Psychology from University of Phoenix. She continues to educate herself with focusing on effective play strategies and behavior management techniques. She is a former Guardian ad Litem.
Alethea has over 18 years of extensive training and experience working with children who have Apraxia, Language Delays, Down Syndrome, Non- verbal, Abused and Neglected, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Feeding Issues/Concerns, Developmental Delay, Disruptive Behavior Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder and Children with Emotional/Behavioral needs. She has extensive experience working in the school system in the exceptional children department. She also has experience working with children in Foster Care.
Alethea is a married to her wonderful husband and have 3 handsome sons. She understands issues that are related to children and families who have been diagnosed with rare disorders/terminal illnesses. Alethea has personal experience with Sensory Integration and Feeding Issues, Apraxia, Autism Spectrum Disorder due to her son having this disorder. She is also trained in various techniques to help with communicating. She utilizes Assistive Technology (toys, communication devices and other equipment children need to interact with peers, parents and toys. As a Behavioral Specialist, she has educated parents in Crisis Intervention/ Crisis – First Responder, Teaching Skills, Play Therapy and skill. She has also taught skill building strategies and fun behavior management techniques including, redirection, positive reinforcement. Alethea continues to demonstrate ways parents can learn how to effectively reduce their child’s behaviors. Combining the components of Verbal Behavior Therapy and her unique Play Therapy techniques she quickly and effectively increases language development, socialization skills and positive behavior in children.
